Terms and Conditions

Please read these terms carefully before commissioning a bespoke frame or using our workshop services. These terms ensure a clear understanding of our bespoke bicycle frame building process.

1. Commissioning a Custom Build

By placing a deposit for a custom steel frame, you are entering an agreement with Steel & Spoke Cycles to design and construct a bespoke bicycle frame based on your specific rider geometry.

Due to the highly individualized nature of bespoke frame building, no two builds are identical. We provide a projected build timeline at the moment your deposit is received, though workshop schedules may fluctuate. We will keep you updated throughout the cutting, welding, and finishing phases.

2. Geometry Approval & Modifications

Before any steel tubing is cut, you will receive a comprehensive frame geometry chart for your review. It is your responsibility to review and sign off on this design.

Once the geometry design is approved by you and physical fabrication begins, structural changes cannot be made. Any requested alterations after fabrication has started will incur additional workshop fees and significant delays to your delivery timeline.

3. Deposits, Pricing & Final Payment

4. Craftsmanship Warranty

We stand behind the structural integrity of every weld and brazed joint that leaves our workshop. Our frames carry a limited warranty against defects in craftsmanship for the original owner.

This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, paint degradation, improper assembly by third parties, crashes, or modifications made after the frame has left our workshop.

5. Communication & Contact Information

Clear communication is crucial to a successful custom build. If you have questions regarding these terms, your queue status, or final payment details, please reach out directly.
